Most teachers in my math departments thought I was too rebellious to be a math teacher because I didn’t require my students to “use pencil or die.”
I’m an “old mom”—everyone else’s kids are getting married or graduating college. I’m still attending high school football games and band concerts! Which also means I wear trifocals and got way too excited choosing my days of the week pill caddy for my vitamins. SMDH

I’m super socially awkward, a bit irreverent, and have grown used to not fitting in. I mean, look at me. What the hell was I thinking with those socks?
My social anxiety and quiet nature means I'm in my head A LOT solving problems that don't even exist. |

I’m a ginormous work in progress and occasionally a big ol’ mess. I balance my days trying to keep my shit together, find shit for everyone else, or picking up shit.
Most of the time though, I'm super laid back, know exactly what I'm doing, and have amazing empathetic problem solving skills.
I have an irrational fear of wearing fabulous shoes. I feel as though that comes with a great deal of responsibility, and I’m just not ready for it.
